When I graduated from college, I was thrilled to be on my own, having a job right away and being able to be independent in life, not depending anymore from my parents.
One day, my friends and I decided to take a trip out in the country. There was only a one way lane for each side of the road. We took two cars with us. All filled with happy college graduates. Then my friends had an idea....let's do car racing!
"Hey! no one is on the road, why not do it!". My other friend on the other car nodded to signal he approved of it. We thought it was cool too. The moment arrived as both cars hit the gas pedal when we knew this was not a cool idea anymore. My heart pounded, no one in my family knew I went out with my friends. Thoughts rapidly came to my mind, "Please God I don't want to die yet. I beg you!".
It was a split second of bargaining with God when I felt our car rolled over. I closed my eyes and said "God forgive me for all my sins! I guess I am going to die now!"
Then all of a sudden in that little country road, it was all silence. My other friend's car turned 360 degrees injuring the passengers but all alive. Our car.... well it did roll but halfway, all of us alive with mild injuries.
That was the moment I appreciated life up until now. I had experience that moment that I thought I would be dead. To those of you who think life is not worth, please think about it over and over and over. You don't know how life is really GOOD. Give life a chance, Give God a chance. You will see it's worth living. And, you will find out, you do have a purpose for living at this time. Find that purpose in your life and ask God, HE will show you the road. He'll be happy to lead you.
Here's a story I would like to share with you titled "The Bridge" . It is a story of a bridge operator who is forced to choose between the life of the son he loves dearly and a train filled with people. I hope you will be inspired after reading and watching it.

Welcome to Red Heart Nurses
I am so happy to see you here in Red Heart Nurses. I am pretty sure you would like to know what we do. If you are a nurse, a nursing student, a LVN, a nurse's aide, simply someone in the health care profession or maybe someone who just wants to know what we nurses do for your health then you are certainly welcome to this place.
Red Heart Nurses was formed in 2005 when I was working in a hospital where all employees get red heart pins for every good comment a patient leaves in your name. To us nurses, it was a one valuable piece of pin for it leaves a memory on how we made our patients' stay in the hospital pleasant and warm. It encourages us to give excellence in our patient care daily in our work place. Being a nurse for over 15 years, I see how nursing profession have changed and yet I have this burden for excellence in patient care and at the same time making sure that nurses will have quality of life while they are in their nursing careers.
Nursing is a very stressful job. And yet you look at these nurses working, and you just ask yourself "how on earth can they do that!" Nurses are your heroes in the healthcare settings. And I believe that they deserve also to have a quality of life while doing a very stressful job. They need your encouragement, your love, your understanding, and your cheering!
This blog will promote informations, stories, education on how to achieve the goals of being a "Red Heart Nurse". This is a place where you can learn and share your stories to be able to encourage and be encouraged in life.
Enjoy your stay here.
Your friendly nurse,
Red Heart Nurse
